CLRC Mentoring Toolkit

Are you just beginning your library career? Have you recently changed jobs or taken on new responsibilities? Are you thinking about "moving up the ladder" in your institution? These are all times when advice from "someone who's been there" is very valuable.

Do you have experience to share with someone else? Do you want to help someone who is either just getting started with their career or has new responsibilities? Do you wonder, as many of us do, who will "follow in our footsteps" and how you can help them? Your knowledge is very valuable to others in the library community.

Whichever situation you currently find yourself in, CLRC's Mentoring Toolkit can provide you with resources you need to make this experience both rewarding and valuable.

Use the documents below during the formation of your mentoring partnership as well as throughout your relationship. Please contact either Penelope Klein (pjklein@clrc.org) or Nancy Howe (howe@clrc.org) if you have any questions regarding this Toolkit.
