Creative Methods for Fund Raising
Sometimes a library must turn to creative fundraising efforts. When asked what creative methods they had employed or heard of, CLRC members responded with the following:
- Book sales
- Sell commemoratives
- Bakes sales
- Jewelry sales
- Garage sales
- Gift basket auctions
- Silent auctions
- Auction autographed books
- Library coffee shop
- Library gift shop
- Memorial brick path
- Wine tasting
- Fundraising party
- Annual black-tie affair
- Raffles
- Staff dress down day (Staff members must pay for the right)
- Movie nights
- Have other groups do funding raising on behalf of the library
