CLRC Region Digital Collections
The Central New York Library Resources Council (CLRC) in Syracuse New York assists libraries schools and museums in Onondaga, Madison, Oneida and Herkimer counties to provide digital access to unique local resources. Regional Automation and Library Services and Technology grants administered through CLRC provided funding for digitizing and web access to many of the collections and images listed here.
In 2002, Betsy Sywetz created a Regional Digitization Plan, which outlined digitization efforts, policies and procedures in the CLRC four-county region. A PDF copy of the report can be found by
clicking here. The creation of this plan was supported with funding from a federal Library and Technology Act grant provided through the New York State Division of Library Development.

These digitization projects were funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) or Regional Automation (RBDB) grants through CLRC.
