Continuing Education Calendar
The CLRC Continuing Education Calendar is a
"LIVE" document and is updated with new training opportunities during the 6-month period. Check back for other events.
Access to continuing education information for the NYS library community is available through one convenient web site provided by the NYS3Rs.
Registration Policy 
Registration for all CLRC workshops and events is now available online through the CLRC web site. Each person registering for a workshop or event must complete a separate registration through the CLRC web site, and will receive confirmation by e-mail.
You are encouraged to register early for all workshops and events as seating is often limited.
The deadline for registration and payment is normally one week prior to the event. Absolutely no registrations will be accepted after this date. Payment (if applicable) must be received by CLRC on or before the registration deadline in order to receive materials. Registrations are not complete until payment has been received. CLRC will not make registration packets for attendees who have not made payment. This policy will be strictly enforced.
It is the policy of the Council to cancel training if fewer than three (3) people are registered. If a session is cancelled, participants will be contacted at least three (3) business days prior to the workshop. If a workshop or event must be cancelled due to weather, a voicemail message at CLRC will convey this information. Please call CLRC at
(315) 446-5446, extension 307 (Nancy Howe) for all CLRC events and workshops and extension 303 (Susan Hughes) for DHP events and workshops.
**In order to qualify for the CLRC's DHP organization rate: you must represent a nonprofit organization, such as an archives, library, historical society, museum, or other organization that holds, collects, and makes available historical records (i.e.: local history collections, manuscripts, photograph collections, organizational records, etc.), and your organization must be located within the CLRC region of Onondaga, Oneida, Madison, and Herkimer counties.
Refund & Confirmation Policy
Refunds of registration fees are made ONLY when requested three (3) business days or more prior to the workshop or event. If a registrant has paid by credit card and requests a refund, CLRC will refund the cost of the workshop by check. Participants who register and pay and who do not attend the workshop or event on the day will not receive a refund; workshop or event materials will be mailed to them after the event.
